AI-Native Offerings Unveiled at HPE Discover 2023
HPE's collaboration with NVIDIA took center stage as they introduced an enterprise-class, full-stack GenAI solution. This expanded strategic partnership aims to simplify GenAI infrastructure development and deployment, empowering enterprises of all sizes to customize foundation models using private data and roll out production applications seamlessly, from edge to cloud.
Additionally, HPE unveiled a new supercomputing solution tailored for generative AI. This turnkey solution is designed to accelerate training and tuning of AI models, ensuring faster AI application development for large enterprises, research institutions, and government organizations.
“Generative AI is inspiring enterprises to reinvent their businesses using their own data as the rocket fuel for transformation,” said Manuvir Das, vice president of enterprise computing, NVIDIA.
Revolutionizing AI Infrastructure and Services
The HPE GreenLake for File Storage received significant enhancements, enabling improved performance density and throughput for demanding AI workloads. These enhancements, including support for 30TB NVMe SSDs and connectivity to new NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand for GPU-centric compute, are set to increase capacity density and throughput sevenfold by early first half of 2024.
Moreover, HPE introduced the Machine Learning Development Environment Software as a managed service, providing a complete, adaptable, cloud-managed experience for AI/ML model training across various cloud providers.

Taiga Cloud, in partnership with HPE, introduced Europe's first 100% carbon-neutral Generative AI cloud. Utilizing HPE Cray XD supercomputers, Taiga Cloud brings forth an ecosystem boasting over 27,000 NVIDIA GPUs, reflecting a commitment to sustainable, open ecosystems, and democratizing AI.
